The payment of a new installment has started on the 8171 Web Portal, under which the beneficiaries of the Benazir Kafalat Program are being provided with financial assistance of Rs. 13,500. This assistance is especially for women so that they can easily manage their household expenses in this period of inflation. If your previous installment was delayed for some reason, you can also get a double installment of Rs. 27,000 this time, which you can confirm by sending a message with your National Identity Card number to 8171.
It has now been made mandatory for all eligible women to get biometric verification through NADRA. Those who are facing difficulty in getting the money or their thumb is not being verified, should immediately visit their nearest NADRA center and complete their biometric verification. Only after this will they be able to get the Ehsaas Kafalat installment, and they will be able to receive their money easily.
This new procedure has been introduced to make the entire process transparent and easy. - Visit the Official Portal: Go to the official BISP 8171 Web Portal by typing “8171.bisp.gov.pk” into your browser.
- Enter Your CNIC: On the homepage, you will see a form. Enter your 13-digit CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) number into the designated field without any dashes.
- Solve the Captcha: You will be asked to enter a security code or a captcha shown in an image. This is to verify that you are a real user.
- Check Your Status: Click the “Submit” or “Check Status” button. The portal will then display your eligibility and payment details.
Checking Your Status via SMS with Your CNIC
If you don’t have access to the internet, you can still check your status using your mobile phone. Simply send your 13-digit CNIC number via SMS to the official code, 8171.
Within a few minutes, you will receive an official message from 8171 confirming whether you are eligible and if your payment is ready for collection. This is a very convenient option for people in remote areas.
NADRA Biometric Verification: A Mandatory Step
A key update for the August 2025 payment is the mandatory NADRA Biometric Verification. This measure has been introduced to ensure that the payments are given to the correct individuals and to prevent fraud.
